TWAS and ICIPE sign collaboration agreements
The International Centre for Insect Physiology and Ecology (ICIPE), Kenya, has joined two of TWAS's South-South collaboration programmes.
Based in Nairobi, Kenya, the International Centre for Insect Physiology and Ecology (ICIPE), is the first African institution to join the TWAS South-South Fellowships programme.
Under the new agreement, ICIPE has agreed to host a number of postgraduate, postdoctoral and visiting scientist fellowships each year. ICIPE also joined the TWAS-UNESCO Associate scheme, which allows researchers from developing countries to visit the institution twice in a three-year period.
